Redemption stores are where the gift card can be used to purchase products or services.
Load Up Stores
A smaller subset of businesses where the gift cards can be purchased and ‘loaded’ with the desired fund, as well as used to purchase products or services. The types of businesses that are ideal Load Up Stores are those who would benefit from increased foot traffic, additional promotion (we’ll be regularly letting the public know where they can buy cards from) and have good accessibility. Please contact us directly if you would like to discuss this further.
Note: Load Up stores should also check with their terminal provider if there are any fees associated with processing REFUNDS. There are some providers that have no fees associated with REFUNDS, however we strongly recommend that businesses check this with their provider before becoming a Load Up Store.
The Local Buy
Shop the Valley Gift Card program is suitable for all types of businesses….not just retail.

HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR EFTPOS TERMINAL
HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR EFTPOS TERMINAL
➢ Use the Activation Card to complete a $0.05 purchase / sale
➢ Select “savings” account
➢ When asked for a PIN, enter the PIN under the scratch panel on the back of thecar d.
➢ You should get an “APPROVED” message from your Eftpos terminal.
Your Eftpos terminal is now activated. Repeat the above steps for each terminal within your
store’s location.
NOTE: You will need to repeat this process if you add, replace or service a terminal.
Please keep your Activation Card in a safe place for future use.
HOW TO LOAD FUNDS ONTO THE CARDS
HOW TO LOAD FUNDS ONTO THE CARDS
Using your eftpos terminal:
1. Choose the ‘REFUND’ function
2. Swipe the card
3. Refund the chosen value onto the card using the ‘SAV’ option and the PIN code (printed on the back of the card beneath the scratch panel)
NOTE: there is a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $1000 that can be loaded onto each card.
4. Write the value and expiry (36 months after date of purchase) on the back of the card in the spaces provided)
